All pictures are taken in totally natural lighting! I do not edit any photos.
Introducing a super sweet but tiny reborn doll, Jacob. He is a smaller reborn doll, super cute and nice to hold. He has a super cute sleeping face. He’s super adorable with all his lanky preemie self.
This kit is authentic from Bountiful baby. He is an artist sculpted Jacob asleep kit by Jessica Schenk in 2006. He is vintage with the old colored vinyl. I reborned him about a year ago.
This doll has an ethnic skin tone. He has creasing, mottling, blushing, and all the tiny baby details. There are a lot of layers of paint that went into creating him and this look. There are some flaws in his painting, just missed smoothing spots, lint or hair here and there. I am human and it doesn’t take away from his cuteness. I try my best to catch every paint pool but as I paint with air dry I have to be quick.
His has dark brown mohair from Slumberland mohair. This hair is nearly mono-rooted but classified as micro-rooted. I directly root with a hair map for a realistic look. This rooting took me about 15 hours to finish. He also has delicately rooted eyelashes in the same mohair. I hand drew light eyebrows with a prisma colored pencil.
He needs to be handled with care and his head supported. His head and limbs easily turn for posing. I used a neck ring for his flange so his head moves easily.
He is about 14 inches long. He is weighted with quality polyfil and fine glass beads. He weighs about 2.4 pounds. He has 3/4 vinyl arms and 3/4 vinyl legs
I paint with air dry paints from HunnyBuns reborn doll supply, use a matte sealer, and AK-187 soft touch vinyl top coat so my dolls are soft to the touch and so not have a hard rough feeling.
Baby is glossed in all the right places and has neatly manicured nails.
Other props (including bottle) for pictures are not included.
Baby does have a magnet so be cautious.
Baby DOES have a fresh scent wafer but I will include a sealed one to be used.
Box opening includes an outfit the baby will come wearing, a diaper, magnetic pacifier, a blanket, and a small toy.
This doll wears size micro premie diapers and small babydoll clothing. This doll will come with all 3 doll outfits pictured.
