Ilea Reborn Doll by Angelic Lullabies Nursery - 19 inches (48.26 cm).
Ilea by Olga Auer
Ilea is a limited edition kit, and my Ilea is 42/1000. COA included.
Date of birth: September 14, 2026
Length: 19” long
Weight: 5lbs 1oz
Ilea is my interpretation of a newborn baby girl.
She was painted with heat set paint. I strive to create amazing realism with my skin tones and textures. The paint is perfect for painting in thin layers or glazes, and is permanent when heat set.
Skin:
She has gentle blushing, texturing, and mottling which simulate the uneven appearance of a newborn baby's skin tone. In addition, I paint subtle veins on the head, arms and legs to give ultimate realism to the skin.
I have given her some rashy areas, peeling skin and little milk bumps.
Gentle blushing and shading are painted all over each limb and the head to bring out all of the excellent details on the baby.
No crease or roll is overlooked.
This process takes many hours of work, but I do this to achieve the look that I want. It is worth it when I see the realistic results.
I have applied a thin layer of a new heat set product that is called Pore Texture. It gives the finished paint a nice subtle pore texture and also seals the paint.
Hair:
The hair is a pretty medium brown color.
I used premium angora mohair on her, and the texture is soft, fine, and very straight.
I painstakingly micro-root using a very fine needle that roots only 1 or 2 hairs at a time.
The natural pattern of hair growth is followed giving the scalp a realistic look.
It takes many hours and days to root the hair, but the results are worth the effort.
I also paint the fine hairs that grow around the scalp with tiny brush strokes to simulate the hair that grows around a baby's face.
The hair has been internally sealed, and it can be wet, gently brushed, and styled.
Face:
Ilea's little face has been carefully blushed and detailed, and soft veins have been painted for a realistic look.
I have very softly painted her brows with a tiny brush one hair stroke at a time. The brows are very soft and light, and she has some rooted eyelashes.
Her face has been painted and blushed to look like my interpretation of a newborn baby.
A fine layer of Pore Texture has been applied on her face for subtle texture and to protect the paint.
Body:
Ilea has a cloth body and it is weighted with glass beads, BBs and fiberfill.
She has full non-jointed arms and legs that have been filled with glass beads and fiberfill.
The head, arms, and legs can be turned for posing.
Her head and body are weighted to be floppy like a newborn baby.
Tummy not included.
Magnet:
A Magnet has been applied in her head for her hair bow. She has a modified pacifier that fits into her open mouth.
Caution: magnets can be harmful to people with pacemakers.
Layette:
Ilea wears size Newborn and some 0-3 months.
She will come home with a hand crocheted {by me} bonnet, bib, and booties. Also a Haute Baby coming home/special occasion gown, and a pumpkin sleeper and cap.
