I am a licensed cosmetologist and have used professional products to create this amazing leave in conditioner for your baby’s rooted hair. And it smells amazing! Once hair has been cut the scalp can no longer create oils to moisture the hair. It needs moisture to be added to keep from becoming brittle over time. Once it becomes brittle it can break off. Most of the time for styling your baby’s hair you can spritz with distilled water and style. But the hair also needs to occasionally be moisturized. As to how often it needs to be moisturized depends on the type and quality of hair your baby has as well as to how often you handle and change your baby’s clothing. You can feel and see when your baby’s hair is starting to become dry. Unless it is really poor quality hair, it shouldn’t look dull or feel rough if it has moisture. You don’t want to wait until it starts to look and feel that way. If you moisturize it, it should feel soft and have a little shine to it. If your baby has poor quality hair it isn’t going to completely change the look and feel of the hair but it will help keep it in the best shape possible. Once you have had your baby for awhile you will get an idea of how often you need to apply it.

When you apply it, you want to spritz and comb lightly until baby’s hair is wet through. Combing through will make sure all the strands have been coated. Style baby’s hair while wet and let the hair air dry. You are good to go. If you leave in a dry climate you will want to moisture your banana hair more often.
