Ana Asleep Reborn Doll by Nest468 - 20 inches (50.8 cm).
This beautiful little girl originated as the Bountiful Baby Realborn Ana Asleep kit. All Realborn kits are created from a computer generated scan of a real live baby. These sculpts are amazingly realistic and the details are impeccable. Ana is a peacefully sleeping baby with relaxed, slightly parted lips, a fair complexion and blushing in all the right places. She's a very low-maintenance newborn who will never wake you in the middle of the night! She's got painted blonde hair with rooted lashes to match. She has full limbs and I added rings to her head and limb flanges so they move easily. Her balanced weight makes her feel like a real baby when held. All she needs now is someone to love!
Ana's legs are slightly bent but she's be about 20 inches long if they could be straightened, and she weighs 5 pounds 12 ounces. Zero to 3 mo clothing fits her well. Her skin tones were created with lots of translucent layers of Genesis heat set paints and then sealed for durability. She does have a small light area of skin / birthmark on the outer side of her right leg at the knee, it isn't very noticeable and is not a flaw, but I always want to be open about anything that others might question.
All Nest468 babies are carefully hand painted and meant for mature collectors only. They all need to be treated with the care and respect you would give any piece of fine art. They are not fragile but they could be damaged if not properly cared for. A detailed care sheet is included in the layette.
None of my babies are meant to be used as toys for young children.
I spend a long time painting and putting together each reborn I create to make it as realistic as possible. I think of each of them as 3D portrait dolls that have the bonus of being able to be held and cuddled. I'm a mom of 3 and a retired neonatal/pediatric RN so I definitely know how babies look and feel. I'm committed to bringing that realism to my work and I don't list any babies that don't meet my high expectations. Ana does and I think she will meet yours as well. If you are interested in seeing any of my past work I hope you will look in my Nest468 nursery here to see babies I've listed here in the past.
I include a beautiful box opening with each of my babies. Baby Ana's layette will include diapers, clothing seen in photos, magnetic pacifier, COA, Nest468 birth certificate and care sheet, and a few extras to make getting her even more special. I occasionally use studio prop items in listing photos and those will not be included. If this sweet little one is coming to you and you will be doing a box opening please let me know, I'd love to see her in her new home!
Thank you for looking at Ana's listing, She was a pleasure to create and I hope she finds a home where her new parent will enjoy her peaceful little self.
